ANITEPAM postpones consultation
on theological education in Africa
ANITEPAM's high-level consultation on the present and future shape of Anglican
theological education in Africa, due to take place in Limuru in June
2007, has had to be postponed.
ANITEPAM deeply regrets having to postpone the
event, but believes that it is the most responsible decision to take.
ANITEPAM has been without a Corresponding Secretary, who has primary
responsibility for organising the consultation, since January.
However, the appointment of
The Revd Martin Mgeni was
formally announced on 8 May. His work with ANITEPAM officially began on
1 May 2007.
Martin will travel to South
Africa soon in order to be briefed by his predecessor, the Revd Mike
McCoy, and to take charge of ANITEPAM's files and other assets.
He will then set about choosing new dates for the consultation, in
liaison with all who have previously shown an interest in attending.
If you have any questions about the planning of the consultation, please
contact Martin Mgeni at <secretary@anitepam.org>. |
