Theological
Education in the Anglican Communion (TEAC)
A Task
Group of the Anglican Communion
TEAC
was set up at the initiative of the Anglican Primates in the belief that
all Christian people have both a right and a duty to theological
education. It is a commitment by the Anglican Communion to seek to assure
the wider availability of appropriate theological education throughout
the Communion.

Colleges
and Universities of the Anglican Communion (CUAC)
The Colleges
and Universities of the Anglican Communion is a
world wide association of over 120 institutions of higher education that
were founded by and retain ties to a branch of the Anglican Communion.
Along with its predecessor, Association of Episcopal Colleges (AEC) that
consists mostly of the Episcopal colleges in the United States, CUAC is
committed to promoting cross-cultural contacts and educational programs.
With institutions on all five continents, CUAC was founded for the
exchange of ideas, for the development of programs among member
institutions, and for our mutual support that we might better serve our
students, our societies, and the world. As a global network of Colleges
and Universities, CUAC strives to assist their faculty and students to
become better global citizens of our diverse world.

St. Nicholas Seminary (SNS)
St.
Nicholas Seminary (SNS) was established in 1975
as an independent Anglican Seminary in response to a decision taken by
the Synod chaired by the late Most Rev’d Dr.
Ishmael Samuel Mills LeMaire. In 1992, the
Provincial Synod of the Church of the Province of West Africa resolved to
adopt St. Nicholas Seminary as a Provincial institution open to students
from across the Province. Today it remains the only active Anglican
Seminary in the Province.
In the
last thirty years of its establishment and against the challenges of a
growing institution, the Seminary has become a well-known centre of excellence for theological education and
ministerial formation. We are proud to have trained ordinands
from Guinea, Cameroon, Sierra Leone and Liberia among others, and to have
received visiting lecturers from Canada, The United Kingdom, The United
States of America and some parts of Africa on teaching exchange programmes and research.
